Self love is very important to me. Through loving oneself can we truly share our love with others. We can get caught up in our own projections not enjoying life, damaging relationships. We are sometimes taught very early on that we need to be a certain way, especially in our appearance. We think that there is an ideal that needs to be met to be accepted. This does not need to be the case. We can learn to love our bodies and still experience the fullness of life. I use the approaches from Connie Sobczak’s The Body Positive trainings to foster body acceptance and self love. The energy spent with hating ourselves and changing our bodies can be spent on loving ourselves and self acceptance. If change is what you want, I help you to do so out of love and not hate. It is possible to make peace with our bodies even if we want to change them. I work with depression, anxiety, and inner critic voices that come up when trying to navigate the path to self love. We are all beautiful and I want to help clients see their beauty. I want to help you feel good about being you.
